All inclusive Madonna CHART STATS, CERTS & STREAMS thread (3 Viewers)

Oh those streaming numbers in the UK are quite impressive, the positive word of mouth has really paid off.
apparently the biggest streaming total in a weekly sales figure for an act who debuted in the 80s. UNVERIFIED as a stat mind you and I'd be curious about any GH/compilations that might invalidate that claim...

I wonder what that list would look like if it was studio albums only.

Actually scrap that, Drake would probably top the list :zombie:

I’m just happy because it is fully deserved this time around
I always it was “wrong” that Madame X was a US number 1 album when the likes of Ray of Light and (especially for the US) Bedtime Stories were not.

Thanks for pointing that out, lets hope there's the SPIKE

Hopefully the album remains stable/increases. Madonna and her team have done a great job promoting so far.

Ask yourself THIS

Who are you doing it for?

Is it for YOU?

Is it for THEM?

I got something
I WANNA TALK ABOUT!

On one hand, it's incredible that CII has surpassed an all-time great Madonna album. On the other, it's a travesty that Erotica doesn't have ten billion streams.

And apparently it has now overtaken American Life
Less surprised by this one I suppose given that there wasn't really a proper hit single from American Life (in spite of what the number 2 positions of the first two singles may have led one to believe at the time). Erotica has the title track, 'Deeper and Deeper' and we have of had the micro-viral moment of 'Thief of Hearts' recently but oh well.
We may still have a TikTok moment or two up our sleeve - maybe In This Life can have a viral GRWM dance? :disco:

Some European shart positions are starting to come in - good holds overall, especially in Germany, France, Netherlands and Finland all a second week in the top 10...
