This looks important

BBC News - Millom leisure centre named Millom Leisure Centre - BBC News
To be fair I used to live near MILLOM and it probably is the most exciting thing to have happened there since I moved away in 1978

The big one in Bolton has gone, something about an M&S going / retreating as a business, that does seem quite sad. BUT WHERE WILL WE GET THE NICE PICKY BITS FROM?

They closed both food halls here years ago but are now currently converting a gigantic old Homebase into one so that will be nice.

The world has been in a spin since the Little Waitrose went from outside Manchester Piccadilly.

Not sure if anyone else saw it, but this has had next to no coverage. It happened 4 days ago and I'm only just seeing it now.

Of course had it been a muslim man attacking white people, it would have flooded social media and led to multiple riots.

I've only just seen this and it is an immaculate version of my favourite kind of local people what the fuck story - of whom the patron saint is surely the dearly departed Lotto Gran Susanne Hinte.

She of the Lotto Jackpot washing machine incident

She who stole an X Box Controller controller from a man she met on a dating app.

She who claimed she was getting offers to be a lingerie model

She who then promptly died.

She was the people's local news story.
