Favourite Suede single from ‘Coming Up’

One of my all time favourite albums and their biggest. I’ve been playing it a lot recently and it still holds up really well. Half the album got released as a single (and ‘She’ and ‘By The Sea’ could’ve been too) and all five were top 10. I have difficulty deciding on my favourite. I have no time for people who claim to enjoy Suede but dismiss this album. Cheer yerselves up, it's a dayglo pop classic. Your favourite band wishes they could do this.

Coming Up is getting a 30th anniversary reissue. Remastered vinyl, new mixed version of the album 5xCD boxset. I’ve lost track with their reissues over the years as in what the new add ons are with their reissuing frequency.

Ugh, no thanks. Mass recycling, none of the studio outtakes from the 20th Anniversary edition and I couldn't care less about a Steven Wilson remix if I made a sincere effort. The 2CD/DVD editions from 2011 are all everyone needs.

Both Trash and Beautiful Ones are incredible and probably my favourite 1996 Britpop songs.

I now love both Autofiction and Antidepressants even more than Coming Up, something I never thought possible. DogManStar is still their Magnum opus though

They are absolutely relentless with these reissues. I also hate how they are incapable of filling up a CD now and spread it all out.

Yep couldn't get into it at all and it's the first Suede album that I skipped on buying a physical copy

I really like Antidepressants, though I am ready for them to change it up next time.

I enjoyed Antidepressants too, I like the Banshees influences apparent throughout but yes a change in direction wouldn’t be unwelcome. I considered not buying it but couldn’t resist the deluxe boxset in HMV when I saw it in the window.
