Labour: The Andy Burnham Years

There is still potential for EVIL on Monday

For Our Wes would never lie

I like that he's already full on trolling The Daily Mail - they will never like him so he may as well torture them.

He'll be different. In some ways good - ÂŁ39bn for council housing is great, and prioritising a National Care Service would genuinely be a big achievement if he manages to pull it off - and in some ways still wearyingly crap.

So, what do we suppose the right wing press will go for in terms of rhyming anything with Burnham... U-turnham? Laburnum Burnham because there is some out of control budget line for fresh flowers in 10 Downing Street? Overly long speeches - Num Bum Burnham?

I normally TUNE IN for the transfer of Prime Ministers, but I'm not sure I have the energy to care.

I'm watching, slow day at work helps, but whereas it used to be a really exciting experience it now happens so frequently I don't feel that. It's more exciting after an election too

If Wes Streeting isn't in tears and forming a splinter party by 6pm, I'll be fuming.

I'm giving it till Wednesday morning for everything to apparently be Burnham's fault according to the rightwing press because everything should surely be fixed by then.
