Monday sells pug into sexual slavery to buy cinema tickets

Morning. I had to work this weekend so have today off. There is absolutely fuck all on at the cinema right now and no theatre on Monday afternoons anywhere. My landlord is coming over to look at some bathroom fittings that need changing, and I want to just go somewhere. Bored!

Odyssey seems to be popular?

I am frustratingly quiet work wise, there is much to be done which is all pending some documents and signatures so I'm sort of sat twiddling my thumbs. Just got back from a morning potter at the allotment but I'm sat here thinking NOW WHAT?

Do you not watch all of the Oscar nominated films anyway? I mean it's kind of a given that The Odyssey will win a bunch.
I’ve given up on that after suffering through Dune Part 2 just for the Best Picture nomination. Luckily Avatar Fire & Ash wasn’t nominated for much. It still got nominated in some categories, but I just couldn’t do it. I can’t imagine watching any new Christopher Nolan films at all in the future. I’ve really really tried.

MORNING GIRLS!

Finally on my way home, though worried that they’ve warned me of potential delays when I’ve got a two hour turnaround in Dallas.

JUST GET ME HOME.

I’m also more tired than I think I ever have been. Like in a weird, new way. Post-festival all nighter, sure, exhausted, but this is just completely “done”. I don’t have the mental capacity for anything at all. I also want a digital detox. I went on Instagram through muscle memory and shut it straight down.

Fair enough. I think the only one of his movies I genuinely love is The Prestige.
