ASFM Big Hug! Entries revealed [& voting closed!] 🤗 (1 Viewer)

Seriously, Go_A was the last time Ukraine sent a song that wasn't HORRIFIC WANK, so on the strength of this I assume they're the only talented musicians left over there.

9. Nazia Hassan

The 80s sitcom energy of the intro :disco: I was expecting to see 'Starring Geoffrey Palmer' flash up on screen.

It's lovely but doesn't really go anywhere.

12. Molly In Da Club

I wasn't prepared for the PIXAR CHODE jumpscare of an avatar. I was expecting something about being in the club to sound vaguely like it belongs in a club. I don't dislike it, mind, I'd just prepped for a banger and was braced to receive it.

This was too MUMBLY for me which has also always been my chief issue with him out of Pearl Jam.

13. Little Miss Dynamiteehee

This was getting points ANYWAY for the inclusion of Moopy icon and style guru Shriekeline 'Shreeky' No Heart, but it's also a full-bodied BOP.

14. MDA feat Kika

I see we've entered the Bapz Out, Flapz Out portion of proceedings. You'll hear no complaints from me.

This must be decent because it's in Portuguese yet I'm not vomiting blood.

Actually quite trancey :disco:

This feels very WARM, like you'd watch a sunset to it. Enjoying it so far, although I can see it's the wrong side of five minutes long so I'll see how I feel in a few weeks when it's almost finished.

Is

the new

?

This is excellent, obviously, and the whiff of Eliza Dushku about her is doing nothing to disprove my theory that female rock singers are automatically hot. I could watch a video by Mo Mowlam's Megadeth and still feel a sly rumble.

This sounds like the end credits song from an early 70s British horror. Stephanie Beacham has just collapsed into the arms of a curly haired man in a polo neck, weeping 'Oh Terry, it was horrid. HORRID', then there's a freeze frame and this kicks in.

I've now convinced myself that I both need to vote for this and want to watch that film.

1. Run With Us

Awful cheeky of someone to send one of my legit favourite songs of all time. Now I have the quandary of either upholding my rule of marking down overly famous stuff, or giving it the obvious 12 it absolutely deserves.

Absolute, absolute BANGER.
I GET you, I am also in the same quandary but it's on the other hand it is hardly the same as ROBIN S.

16. Beyond the Black

I already know these so I'd already slid a pre-emptive tit out in anticipation. The other one will be joining imminently :disco:
I am sure this is your entry. WELL DONE, HEN! I don't like this kind of music normally but this works.

I had totally forgotten it existed & despite being a huge Raccoons fan as a child, I'd forgotten everything about the show other than the opening sequence with Bert Raccoon. The primary villain is a pink aardvark with SINISTER CAPITALIST TENDENCIES. You'd think I'd recall that but NOPE.

BANGER anyway :disco:

Haha almost none of the guesses of matching user to the song have been right. :D

Though there is a little while left until voting closes, it would be nice to have some in a little earlier. ☺️ 2 sets of votes in so far!
