RANDOM THINGS YOU HATE (2 Viewers)

there must be some buttfuck town called Oxford, Tx or something.

Clears up confusion: It stops a sentence from having a double meaning. For example, "I love my parents, Batman, and Superman" clearly lists three separate things. Without that last comma ("I love my parents, Batman and Superman"), it sounds like your parents are Batman and Superman.

I don’t find it confusing in the slightest but I am Arkansas educated so who knows haha

I mean, what do they want? If you aren't willing to think 'bollocks' and bin them like a lot of people, just take them back to Asda. The customer service desk would almost certainly give you a refund or allow you to exchange for a new pack.

Same as the people who go on local facebook groups to rant about a driver that will never see the post.

TO THE PIG DRIVING THE WHITE FORD FIESTA WHO BEEPED AT MY LITTLE DARLING AS SHE DID THE MACRAENA WITH TITS OUT ON THE A56 YESTERDAY I HOPE YOU ARE HAPPY SHE CRIED FOR 9 SECONDS 😡

I took about 1000 of them out of something and have been sent a list instructing me to reinstate every single one. SOMETIMES one is useful to make things clearer, but mostly I feel they are UNNECESSARY

No the use of -IZE does not necessarily mean that we are writing in AMERICAN ENGLISH :manson:

I only recently learnt that IZE was acceptable British English, not that I'll use it.

"I'VE BOUGHT A HOUSE!" POSTS ON INSTAGRAM AND THE LIKE, USUALLY ACCOMPANIED WITH A PICTURE OF A HAND HOLDING KEYS IN FRONT OF A FRONT DOOR.

I say this as a homeowner: have some fucking class!

Even if it's down to "years of hard work" like your earnest caption claims, there's still been an element of luck and it's something many people seeing your smug post can't strive to. Brag about your house more subtly!

people who says "how's you". and people who list all the things they DON'T like in their grindr profile.

(in mine I've written that "how's u" won't get a response xx)

"X goes to the front of the queue".

Nobody believes there's a queue :(

YORKSHIRE TEA BORES

"Ooh how can you possibly drink WOKE PISS like Tetley instead when Yorkshire Tea is so much better & superior & I shove the teabags up my fanny every night I'm so ENAMOURED with them"

Maybe it's my preference Sandra love, & I think you've been taken in by a well-run marketing campaign concentrating on "authenticity"

I'm also expecting angry reactions to this post as so many people are SO WEIRD ABOUT THIS

Tetley is WANK, but I am fine with most other brands.

Tetley is a bit shit, and I think Twinings is highly overrated. But most other brands are perfectly fine, and like you said, clearly a preference! Where did this Yorkshire Tea marketing come from anyway? I only remember this being a thing in the last 10 years.

I mean, they've been quite clever in tapping into the soft tribalism of people from Yorkshire who have enthused about it as an identity-reinforcing product. That has created a strong intangible brand asset that it's a 'proper' brew for proper folk, which they've managed to translate into something people outside of Yorkshire can identify with.

Comments like this where they're just really wordy and pretentious in attempts to get the upper hand
Just comment from ✨️the Enya Archives✨️ then

(He/his partner's salty they don't have any authority on some fancy Enya items and they're trying to disprove the studio gates photo. Didn't work :D)

Many of the nouns given to people from a certain place

New Yorker, Dubliner, Londoner - fine

Chicagoan, Angelino, Sydneysider - fuck off :manson:
