Heather Nova - ‘The Orchard’ (new album)

Heather is performing at the Shepherd's Bush Empire this October. This is her only UK date so far. I hope she comes up North.
Where did you see that? I haven’t seen any new tour dates posted but wouldn’t mind having a look as a short trip might be in order.

It's October 13th and with a full band. I saw it on Google when I typed in Heather Nova UK Tour 2026 Shepherd's Bush Empire.

Hopefully it’s correct but Google AI has been wrong before. It would be before the album release if so and she hasn’t posted anything but I did see her tour ‘Storm’ before the album came out.

Actually I might be wrong about this because I can't find any tickets but I did see it on Google. :eyes:

Google AI is more wrong than right about concert dates. There's a real problem with the way AI is scraping tour information because AI still really struggles with timelines. You still have to prompt ChatGPT if you want it give you up to date information on things because it often goes up to 2025 for some reason.

Google told me there were tickets available for a Natalie Imbruglia concert in Liverpool in August which ended up on Spotify. Turns out AI was scraping old information from a previous tour. It's frustrating.

She also has a good live album, ‘Wonderlust’ from 1998 which focuses on the Oyster and Siren albums and is with full band for a different feel.

Thanks for posting, I'll order! Just listened to South and I would say it's Heather's most pop sounding album? Favourite album so far is Oyster.

Just listened to Glow Star's and Breath and Air and I would say Glow Star's is her most obscure album but still enjoyable. And really liked Breath and Air.

Yes ‘Glow Stars’ is the lo fi first album which sounds very indie. It’s good but wouldn’t be the starting point for a newbie.

‘South’ is her most pop/polished album. She says she likes a lot of the songs but not the production - the record label were interfering a lot with the sound by this stage and pressuring her to play on her looks and image more which she didn’t like so it’s definitely not her favourite era.

That's interesting. I haven't listened to it for ages, but at the time I was quite disappointed in South coming after Siren.

Just been listening to Heather's other live album Wonderlust and I think it's better than her other live album.

Heather top 5 -
1. London Rain
2. Heart And Shoulder
3. Walk This World
4. Winterblue
5. Doubled Up

A second slice of loveliness from the forthcoming album which again takes a few listens.

I’m still obsessed with “The Orchard”. A truly stunning song. It just keeps growing on me with each listen.

I agree. The new song is sweet but The Orchard is beautiful.

Fast forward...
Rewind...
Here we are

She’s also kicking off her next tour in England (I’ll not say UK as she’s ignoring Ireland North and South, Scotland and Wales but will pass by London, Manchester and Bristol in January.
