Well sometimes it's the remix version that 'takes off' and charts properly (or gathers the larger proportion of streams) rather than the original version. There have been plenty of examples of that in recent years.Actually how do we determine the success of a remix of a song that has already been released?
In the case of Love Sensation I expect the streams will be combined for the remix and album versions. Given that they're releasing physicals but the shipment date is not until September I don't know if there is a strategy behind the scenes to try and maximise the chart impact - and I think there is. Whether or not it takes off on streaming remains to be seen (I doubt it will but I remain hopeful.)
