MADONNA AND KYLIE - Love Sensation

I don't think is AI? this is the professional recording from World Pride

OH the story you're referring to just came. fuck me :D she does love a sloppy AI repost but that takes the piss

Not the Madge Instagram account (because I can't imagine she would do it...would she?) resorting to reposting (albeit a rather cute but sloppy) AI video of Madonna & Kylie dancing to this at Koko in her stories. :D :disco:
She’s always posting AI shit
She’s very dorky on social media
Who can forget her 2014-2015 era

I need the studio version of those Kylie vocals harmonising on top of the original chorus melody RIGHT NOW

Well the longer mix will prove entirely superfluous, I'm sure.

This is the pop equivalent of a megafire in the Mediterranean. Properties destroyed, lives torn apart.

OK yes the main mix is incredibly flat and I'm quite sure nobody who's being honest with themselves will be listening to that much.

Happy with the radio edit choosing to stick much more closely to the album version.

Anyway, the rest of the new releases are out in under half an hour. What else are we listening out for, now the gaypocalypse has gone the way of the Millennium Bug?

I mean we already knew Love Sensation is such a Kylie song, but hearing her on the recording just sounds RIGHT.

Carly Rae Jepsen has flown under the radar for obvious reasons but I'd imagine will deliver the proper landmark gay moment of this New Music Friday.

I like the Radio Edit but did Stuart forget to mix in Madonna's vocals after the first verse?

I think it's pretty good and I like the new mix a lot... Kylie also sounds great and her new adlibs going into the last chorus and on the outro are lovely (all referring to the edit). overall it's a job well done.

that said it's taking me out a bit how muddy the mixing on M's vocal is in contrast to Kylie sounding pretty clear in the mix.

I actually really like the Afterhours Mix but for whatever reason they've done away with the middle 8 and it makes no sense.

I really wish they had added some different adlibs - even the odd new line would have been nice.

It fails to capture the energy of the clips we've seen.

omg at the new harmony sung by M around 4:10 into the Afterhours Mix (in place of the middle 8). fabulous remix. and the COADF-esque synthline that comes in near the end... :disco: they both slap but this is the one I'd wanna hear in a club for sure.

I suppose that’s to be expected really - there was no way they were going to (re)create that frenzy in a studio. I wasn’t expecting it to align so closely to the original track though and I think that’s partly because deep down I’d have preferred an original song.

I do like the Radio Edit but to me it sounds more like Kylie being bunged on to the album version of the track. The Afterhours Mix is great in my opinion but it loses a point for omitting the middle 8.

I actually like the full Afterhours Mix a lot more than I expected to. I do wish the middle eight hadn't been removed though. It's proper clubby though, so I get it. The last 2 minutes are fab too.

I still prefer the radio edit though, as it's essentially the album version with added Kylie and you can't really go wrong with that.

Well done once again to Stuart for pleasing everyone!

It will definitely be the edit I go back to more often but I like how the two mixes are so different, which I wasn't expecting. Kylie sounds so good and their respective parts have been chosen well.

The lack of whelm I think is that...well, KINDA THE SAME as Love Sensation, which is already great on its own.

But that isn't me moaning...it's FABULOUS :disco:
