Apparently Love Sensation has entered Kylie's current top 10 popular songs on Spotify.

What’s over? That’s still great, it certainly has a top 40 shot now.

#8 on first looks was only going to be about 4k and nearly all downloads, so it was never going to hold anywhere near that.

So it's at #8 in her top 10. Given that #7 was streamed 48,316 times in the last 24 hours that's not a lot. Or do I have that wrong?

The current top ten shown on Spotify isn't just a day - I think it may be a running week.

the top 10 is not the top 10 songs from the last 24 hours. it's an average calculated over a longer period (x number of weeks)

These Alarms is showing up as my #8 with no Love Sensation? May not have updated on my app yet.

It’s the last thirty days averaged plays I think so it seems quite soon for LS to be there already.

It's my #8.

How fucking depressing that the reality of the singles chart IS that #15 is an achievement, when another song is about to spend its twenty first week at #1 and nobody gives a shit.

Just a reminder of the chart 41 years ago this week. And of what a rarity something like this happening then was:

Still haven't heard it.

That has to be one of the strongest top 10s ever had - take Kershaw out, and the remaining nine are all fondly remembered (or maybe just remembered) classics today.

Looks like it might JUST scrape in to the top 40.

Latest midweeks from SayHey:

Most updated info as it at #20

Sales: 5,692
Streaming 'sales' 2,374

Should really have had the CDs ready to ship this week if they wanted a top 20 placing.

I really do think this single was a late decision. Not having the CDs ready, but also it not being added to R2. It’ll surely be on the playlist this Friday.

I like Kershaw but definitely not his strongest and sticks out like a sore thumb amongst a very stellar line up.

It was also ALREADY a single.

I like Love Sensation but it seems a bit of a waste to have done it for this track in retrospect

I complete forgot LS was a promo single :D was it just a gratis track or did it previously go to radio? I think it was overshadowed by BYL and wasn’t it?

It was more than just instant grat. It was the official 2nd single wasn't it? It had its own set of remixes and everything!

wait - this is charting top 30/40 without cd singles? so all those 5.7k sales are digital?

I just bought the digital EP again on Amazon Music. Oh well. It's over now but hey how I tried my best
