I'm partial to MOST other than steak & kidney. The smell alone makes me GAG & INSTA-VOMIT.

Meat & potato or fish can be very hit & miss. It's a fine line between acceptable & overly lumpy/soggy.

Holland's remain the brand name of CHOICE.

I rarely have pie but when I do, it's always chicken and leek from a local butchers. The CREAMIER the better.

I don't MIND a fish/cottage/shepherds but I do think it should be illegal to call anything a pie that doesn't have pastry. (TAKE NOTE AMERICANS, A PIZZA IS NEVER, EVER A PIE)

Mince and cheese is unbeatable. Butter chicken is brilliant as well. Plus the standard steak and chicken options.

God bless the UK, and to be fair the pies aren’t bad, but if I miss one thing from down under it’s the quality and quantity of pies fucking EVERYWHERE

The one on the city centre, or the one on Stokes Croft? I hope you had whatever pie you had with their mushy peas and gravy.

They sell in supermarkets as well now, although I'm not sure if they are stocked nationwide.

Anyway, a Pieminister Matador is my pie of choice. Steak, chorizo, butter beans and sherry.

If it's a savory pie, I'll eat it. I love all of them, especially if contains cheese.
NZ had some amazing pies. Both the nasty convenience store ones and the gourmet ones.

Here the Americans prefer sweet/fruit pies as a dessert item. I don't hate them but I never crave them either.
