MADONNA AND KYLIE - Love Sensation (1 Viewer)

No offense, but this project didn't need Kylie. So unless they held off for a proper Confessions II re-release on a new lead single, it was just an added victory lap for both acts managing creative and commercial peaks and comebacks in their 5th decades. I don't need a high position on the hit parade to render it "iconic" or a success. In this day and age, Madonna (and Kylie) hit it out the park and delivered their we-have-nothing-left-to-prove status seal.
 
Yeah I loved seeing them together, but I'm not sure if this LS collab was necessary. It doesn't add much to the song for me. Hate what they did to Kylie's voice too.

Why are they announcing this with a deadline of this week’s chart tracking when the CDs are only dispatched in September according to the website? I have no idea what’s going on anymore

It’s odd because they’ve handled the album aspect of the campaign brilliantly with the variants etc but the singles have been a bit unfocused - or maybe they just don’t care about chart positions and just want to keep the campaign momentum going. But then why try to maximise CD orders before the tracking week ends? Odd. Or maybe I’m not getting it either
 
Unless they do mark everything as shipped before midnight tomorrow in which case it's a moot point.

I feel it’s clearly a momentum thing rather than a hit singles campaign to support keeping a successful album visible.

I just bought it for 59p on iTunes as I feel I could be the cause of it reaching #41 if not - the dreaded position many of my faves have landed at in the past.
 
I think a “hit” single would be awesome but not necessary for this album.
 
This is a proper chart emergency if it does mean that the CD sales will count towards this week’s chart position.

Will Kylie and Madonna enter at a higher chart position than Nigel Farage's share of the vote? He's apparently due to get somewhere around 70% of the vote (boo hiss).

It's just the streaming catching up that's done it I guess.

I suppose top 40 is possible with physicals added but I imagine top 10 or even 20 is out of the question.

Did Bring Your Love have physicals?
