On the plus side, this summer is almost certainly going to be the coolest we'll all have for the rest of our lives :)
 
I was about to set fire to my house yesterday but then the government texted me not to. I’ve got to say, Andy Burnham is doing a really great job writing that - and on a Friday night too when you’d think he’d just be chilling with a dvd and a bottle of wine.
 
Fun stat: more ppl died at shock from the phone alert than have died from wildfires.
 
I just bought something off Temu. I have never done this before but I was looking for shorts and they appeared on my screen - I assume they will either burst into flames or otherwise were made by crying children? Or they just won't arrive. But I once spent a week with my aunt in Milton Keynes when I was 11 and she did home working for some company or other so we both sat there of an evening putting together lapel badges for rock and pop bands. And it was fine. I was fine. I'm fine.
 
I can hear them sound checking in the park so googled who was playing tonight and AGOG to discover Lenny Kravitz is being supported by JOSS STONE. The way I completely forgot she existed.
 
I was upstairs last night when my phone started making this horrendous noise, my glasses were downstairs. Opened my phone, couldn't read a thing but could see the yellow exclamation mark. Haired it downstairs shrieking "ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE!", put my specs on and discovered that it was bad to put naked flames near dry grass.

I feel sad that the Government feels it necessary to inform us of what should be common sense. What next? Do not stab yourself in the eye with a knife? Do not drink bleach?

Oh no! It's Chester Pride today and I completely forgot, even though those nice people at the Carers Trust invited me to go a-marching with them

Can't believe Sir Tom Jones is 86! Still recovering from having 'If I Only Knew' broadcast live into my boudoir. Show must go on and all that

Pride is here too. I'm getting kinda FOMO, while also trying to avoid drinking and I'm shattered, but I really wanna go out. My mate has a bin shed to build and brain is just wants to go over and build it, while my body is telling me no.

Probably full of chemicals that are illegal in the EU (if you lived in the EU).
 
American assistant brought me back some USA sour skittles to try as they have an ingredient in them that’s banned in the UK. They were so much better than ours, but when I looked up what the banned ingredient does found out it ALTERS YOUR DNA :D!

Made Nigella’s chard and anchovy spaghetti for dinner tonight, can highly recommend, it’s like puttanesca for people who don’t fuck.
