I very stupidly set up a days meetings and then travelled afterwards. Usually fine but given I was in Sydney at the time and it was a 24 journey…. Which then got delayed leaving for 2 hours by bad weather. I absolutely cannot sleep on flights - the first moment I could i crawled into a dark room and basically shut down. So I guess that was 30 or so. 4 days i’d be dead.
 
I did a 40 hour shift last year when I was working all night on a deal and then had an awards ceremony to attend, no sleep in between. I still looked snazzy in black tie though.

I was very ready to sleep after that, and took the next two days off work!
 
I dodged three nights back in my wildest days and honestly would not recommend. Your brain starts playing tricks on you and not in a fun way.
 
My longest is about forty six hours and I was in slow labour for the last twenty eight of them. Although I did have several hours toking on gas and air so it wasn't all bad.
 
I've had more than my fair share of two hour dozes after getting home at 8am still tripping balls, and feeling like shit for 48 hours after. thank god I stopped fucking around with drugs*. I just value my sleep too much. did you know one night of no sleep is five years off your lifespan? :shock: (editor's note: scientific basis for this claim appears to be lacking)

*still enjoy a bump or ket in the sun once or twice a year which as we all know doesn't even count
 
I know its a n=1 dataset but I would deffos say that not sleeping is more than 50% of any comedown. Now I'm older and arguably wiser I never go without sleep at a festival or multiday do and I don't suffer half as much as I did as a youngen.
