Came in here to say - what a BONKERS opening weekend thus far. The league is truly back back back again.

I am open to changing it but just to query before I do so - is it possible to see what other leagues people are in? I didn’t think it was.
 
Okay I have looked into this and although I can’t see how to do this on the app, it apparently is possible to see the other leagues people belong to if you are in a league with them. I understand how that could be sensitive if anyone is not out at work.

I’ve changed the name to ‘didcot disco committee’ for now but am open to suggestions.

I genuinely think putting Moopy in the name is worse - you don’t want a work colleague’s curiosity getting the better of them and googling this place!

despite best efforts it is currently still only jark and i fighting it out to death in a paddling pool of arsenal red and white jelly
 
I've had a very lucky start and I'm currently in the top 4,000 in the world :D It'll never last. My bench boost couldn't have gone better really.

I did manage to steal my work league for the gays last season, defeating multiple lads who take it EXTREMELY seriously (to be honest, I also do this and spend an embarrassing amount of time thinking about my team, spreadsheets included)
 
I'll have a go, if I remember when I get back from hols

I haven't played in a very long time so if I set a team up, it'll be for moopy only.

I gave up on it a few years ago because I would forget and then get stressed. Plus I’m shit at it.

MGW should start/play against Liverpool. Was just a knock they reseted him for on tuesday apparently. We'll probably get pumped but if we do anything, he'll be instrumental.
 
But also there is a reason I don't play FPL any more and a good portion of that is I'm ~ d ~ o ~ g ~ s ~ h ~ i ~ t ~

yes I did count on him starting but just not sure I see Forest having a good time at Anfield...

The only thing that might work in our favour is Liverpool are in transition at the minute too. I think Leeds did well against us (x2) as they're settled and we're all 🤷‍♀️🙃

I gave in and swapped out Bruno F for Tzolis. I couldn't bear to have no Arsenal players when they're playing *this* Aston Villa, and he was just too damn expensive. I think you probably can have him in your team but only if don't have Haaland as it results in too much compromise elsewhere. I feel probably better to identify a few solid 6/7/8m midfielders than have Bruno F taking up a huge chunk of change and enough doing enough.

Watch him rack up a goal and two assists against Ipswich now... :D
