I usually blame the cold in our house on the bloody horrid concrete floors downstairs.

Fucking Hell. The article is behind a paywall- I need to find out how poor old Flora will cope.

It's gonna be between 12 and 17 degrees all week so I'm not sure we'll need it this week.

I love it on though - makes me feel all cosy.

It’s quite HUMID up here this evening. Still PISSING IT DOWN though.

I've put a heavier quilt on the bed, but fuck turning the heating on.

I have booked a flight to IBIZA to see one of my best friends tomorrow. I am not ready for this so am going to bury my head in the sand for a week. Currently packing cases WITH THE HEATING ON.

It's fucking REDDERS over there atm. I am going next weekend in search of eternal summer.

I'm kinda looking forward to getting into cooler weather, although I suspect jumping from WHATEVER HELLISH temperature this is, to GREY SAD CLOUDS will be a culture shock.

Going away at the end of August really does cause a real jolt to the system when you come back as the weather turns. We get wet mild days in July too, but it just feels different in September. I feel like I’ve had no time to adjust. I drove home from dinner last week in the dark and felt like CRYING. I’m not ready.

I’m off to Porto two weeks tomorrow so I’ll hopefully be getting one final SUMMER FIX 🤞

I woke up early this morning and it was dark 🤢

Its still not cold though, we havennt got the duvet out yet

It was 26° here at the weekend, although I think it was about 20° today. We do have the duvet on, but still in short sleeves in the evening. And Mr L is still very much in his 'no long trousers until October' mode without complaining about it.

I'm already feeling sad about putting my legs away for the year.

I’m still in shorts and will stay that way until october

I'm still in shorts, but I maneouvered the throw from the back of the sofa to over my legs this evening :(

We've accrued a bit of a PRETTY PACKET on our energy tariff but I'm waiting till December/January before I think about withdrawing it and treating us to a nice Zizzi's or something

You can tell it's that confusing time of the seasons. It's a beautiful autumn morning here - sunny and 15°, and some people are walking around in short sleeves and shorts, others in big coats.

This is the first morning I've felt cold since the clocks changed. :(

My heating came on automatically about 9pm last night so it is now autumn as far as I'm concerned. The radiators only got warm though, not hot, so it must have just been a little chilly near the thermostat.

Genuinely tempted today for the first time, despite it apparently being 21 degrees.

Apparently it's only 17° here, but Mr L is still in the garden in t-shirt and shorts.

Still living in shorts and tshirt too. No duvet but we do have an blanket and sheet at night now.

I've gone long sleeves and PJs for lounging. A week ago I was on hell's inferno.
