'World music' records by our favourites

[Suedehead]

Slightly problematic title notwithstanding... I want us to discuss when our favourites have dabbled with the genre of world music. I guess this is partly inspired by the concurrent Alanis and Shania discussion.

To be honest I think Kate was probably first wasn't she? Probably with The Sensual World, no?

I want to resist bringing up Madame X but yeah she's probably the most famous of the world music album girlies.
