Hear’Say Reunion! Coming back strong… with Liberty X - to arenas! (3 Viewers)

Surely the actual demand for this is minimal at best?
I have seen interviews with a couple of them and they seem to have a reasonable amount of awareness of this, to the point where it’s been a reason for them not doing it before now - not having the back catalogue to do a Steps style arena tour for example.

That said, we’re not far off the Mighty Hoopla line-up being announced, so a few of those summer festival type gigs would probably be worthwhile.

As a four-piece though? I mean they were already a bit tragic as a five…

Yes Hoopla and other nostalgia festivals they could absolutely do. But headlining a tour of their own feels like pushing it.

Some well chosen covers could plod things along. Like sneaking in the Mumba's Always Come Back To Your Love and other Stargate-esque bops from the era (En Vogue's The Riddle (Stargate Mix) could maybe work with a Mylene montage whilst newly written verses detail the drama that led to her absense).

I can imagine even with a poor financial return, it might still be worthwhile for most of them. But I'm surprised Kym Marsh is bothering - I'd have expected her to give Corrie a call first.

Didn't they chart like 3 songs?! And only 1 is surely remembered by the general public. Mighty Hoopla only I suspect. A tour would be financial suicide!

They could definitely pull off a reasonably sized London date and then do the Hoopla / Don’t Tell Mama / regional Pride circuit

Perhaps Liberty X will throw Johnny Shentall a bone

To be fair the Almighty remix of "The Way To Your Love" was fun for 2002.

I feel like Kevin Simm is booked and blessed these days, but I'm sure there's enough pieces of HearSay and Liberty X to form some sort of Super Group? Get Andy Scott-Lee on board maybe, no-one will know!

I have such a soft spot for KYM MARSH SOLO stuff, and I'd be interested in them reuniting for say Hoopla or a 5 set song, but I agree, as much as I am fond of them, a full show would be more padded-out that Mis-Teeq!

Well yeah, there was four singles overall?

A pop band can’t run a full concert on that, given they hardly came from multiple albums where everyone knows album tracks or whatnot. A Hoopla set really is the only sort of thing they could really do is assume.

It’s a tour with all 5 of Liberty X called Popstars: The Originals.

They should dig out a DEEP CUT in Clare Freeland, who proved the judges wrong with her massive hit Free
