He came home yesterday a bit unsure if everything and nervous but totally fine this morning. He did lose a bit of weight tho :(

Mine usually meow endlessly for about a day and then just carry on being absolute tyrants.

Good to know! I think my cats thought I'd abandoned them when they went in the cattery, but they was fine when they were back.

Yeah I'm sure he thought we had abandoned him, I was sad when they told me he took a couple of days to settle. But he's back to being his normal Twatty self now.

Honestly, I haven’t had a holiday since we got them where I don’t feel slightly like the worst person on Earth -we’ve even stuck in a solo / friends holiday each so they get two weeks where only one of us is away so its less cattery time.

That's what we've spoken about doing 😬
Although, we have got another holiday booked in 6 weeks and one in January.

He's going to a different cattery for those two, a much smaller one where he gets one on one attention from the same person so hoping he settled quicker.

We did say eventually he can stay at home and be checked on, but where we're top floor in a flat, we worry in case there's a fire caused by a neighbour and he can't get out when we're away.

I mean I think caring about this stuff is good - our two are totally hooligans but they are absolutely at the core of the household.
