Rupaul’s Drag Race UK - Season 8 (3 Viewers)

The obnoxious singing in the werkroom was giving Tyra Sanchez and look how all THAT worked out.

It was her time but yes I do feel the more distinctive ones have all gone bar for KY. Four weeks on and I'm still struggling to pick out Naya Thorn Vs Flesh Vs Alik.

Sorry but Paris Baby was a great contestant. Insufferable and crunchy as all fuck but it's the AUDACITY for me, because the way she had the entire cast FUCKED UP and literally in tears :D

Meanwhile Flesh and Alec were superb. Flesh's dotted sty look :disco: And Alec's pink puff look was probably the best of the episode.

Yeah I don’t like KY at all - trying to banter with someone you performatively lost your shit with lacks a certain self-awareness - that isn’t the relationship you have with that person.

Surely a problem is that largely the 'distinctive' ones they cast just aren't very good at Drag Race? Because only the one I'd quibble (possibly) about being in the bottom two is TDQ, and she was destroyed in the lip sync anyway.

I loved Michelle Lamy being so warm to the queens.

Just wanted to share this pic too

That was a bizarre episode. I didn't have Alik pegged as the winner of the challenge at all and it felt like they didn't want Mocha to become too much of an obvious winner at this point. Agadoo is the rubbish straight 80s brand of camp to me, why not just do an original song or even the dreaded RuPaul remix if the money's all gone?

KY Kelly was the only one who came out of her group with any credit and I'm glad she was spared. I love watching her really embody the stereotypical vile passive-aggressive queen you'd encounter down a provincial gay bar, in the same manner you'd watch a hyena in a David Attenborough documentary.

Alik was legit the best I thought? And her runway LEWK was excellent, if not a little standard for her.

What exactly is it that Naya does well? (Quickly)

Good point why is everyone just making faces into the air? If someone spoke to me this in a professional setting they wouldn't hear the end of it :D

That acting challenge was the worst I’ve seen all week and that includes the video of that guy being eaten by a tiger.

Happy that Naya has got a badge now. She’s been performing well most of the season.

KY is just insufferable. I’m amazed how Mocha managed to stay so calm while being piled on by KY.

KY is so unlikable. I just know she's insufferable irl.
Yes, she's pretty consistently repellent in this. Although within the context of the remaining queens, it's pretty needed.

Loathe KY but I do think she's pretty important rancid disingenuous Gen X cunt representation :disco: Think her being so dreadful in the reading challenge just said it all though. This is meant to be your forté! And she really isn't a million miles away from Paris Baby as being someone who dictates the energy of the room, and usually for the worse. The sea of eyerolls when she got snippy about them bringing up Maureengate on the main stage

Delighted Naya got a badge finally - for lifetime achievement and for that lip sync. Flesh's runway was gooooorgeous. Get that on a top level runway!

I don't think it's top drawer DR UK, but it's decent enough mid table for me.
