EastEnders 2026

Zoe’s cause of death revealed
She’s going to fall out of bed and bang her head. Kat will find her in the morning :manson:

There has definitely been an almighty bust up

Will she even appear onscreen for this, or are we just going to have Jessie Wallace screaming at a silhouette?

I'm surprised they coaxed Kazinsky back, because which past actors haven't looked at the Zoe mess and thought "fucking hell"?

Based entirely on his arrival scenes last year, he felt like a clear case of I WON'T TAKE MY COAT OFF, I'M NOT STOPPING from the start. Too good an actor to stay long.

That said, it's obvs a mixed bag for post EE careers. Of the recent successful ones Tamwar's probably done best and he was on EE for nearly a decade!

Google says Sam Strike (who left after a year) and Ben Hardy (three years) have had decent careers too. Maddy Hill left after a year, went straight into Casualty, and has only had EE returns as acting work since.

That guy that plays Oscar, is theatre through and through.

Zoe's departure reminds me of the episode of Friends where Joey is killed off in Days of our Lives and his character evil death glares everyone as he falls down the lift shift.

Honestly I'm surprised she's even been onscreen

DS suggests she's been averaging less than 4 episodes a month in 2026. In a year where they brought on her long-lost children.

What went down?

I've just been catching up and i'm surprised there hasn't been more comments on the wedding week, parts of that felt like it could have been a Christmas episode! What was the song Cindy danced to on her own? She put me in mind of Kate Bush in Wuthering Heights! :D The part when she danced with Kim was a beautiful scene!
