I often think I would just like to win maybe €5m and not like 40 or 120 million because I would definitely become a cunt. a real vicious little bitch. I would like to stay grounded but just as the owner of a gorgeous house in Islington and another in the Alps x

I’ve never actually played the lottery. :shy:
I did occasionally in the mid 90s when it was launched. Weekly for perhaps the first few months and then with decreasing regularity after. I've also been in the odd work syndicate until the mid 00s.

I think I may have bought the very occasional rollover ticket since then, but I reckon even that must be over a decade now.

I don't think I've ever bought a scratchcard.

a friend gave me a scratchcard last week and I won €5 on it but I'm too lazy to go and cash it in. so I'm going to gift it back to him as a leaving present. so thoughtful...

I actually KNOW a winner of the Euromillions jackpot. She split with her husband and moved to the town in Scotland near where my house is based with her good for nothing sponger new husband and they took over a local pub which she worked in herself. She is still incredibly grounded for someone who won 148 million on the Euromillions. Looks like a totally different person to the one before the lottery but still is a beautiful person.

I think 59 million would just overwhelm me. I wouldn't know what to do with it and I'd end up doing nothing until I finally crack up.

I would charter a private jet to take me and my friends to all the iconic housewives fight locations to see if we ended up embroiled in just as much drama.

Then buy a house in North Vancouver overlooking the harbour.

I've got quite into scratchcards lately! Is this my middle aged dad era?

This thread has made me want to go and get one, and some scratchcards while I'm there. I'm on a bit of a STREAK at the moment having won x5 prizes at the School Raffle last week :disco:

I've only played the lottery a few times and only buy scratch cards occasionally. Not really a gambler.

I think living on the west coast of Canada would be the absolute tits. My dad lives on Vancouver Island which is a little bit sleepy for me (although I'm getting close tpo the age my dad was when he moved now...) but Vancouver would be ace.

Yes, Vancouver is staggeringly beautiful and pretty much my ideal climate. What not to love about a city surrounded by water where you can see mountains from the heart of downtown?

The seabus is the best public transport I have ever been on, for nothing other than THE VIEW

I remember getting a seaplane from the harbour to Vancouver Island, and then getting the ferry back. Genuinely one of the loveliest days of my life.

I'll have this house

Maintenance and security's gonna cost a bit I suppose. Then all the regular luxury holidays. But I suppose I'd have a bit left over to give away to family/friends/charity.

I do a direct debit and I don’t know why. I know it’s a fool’s tax all in all. I never win anything.

In all seriousness, I'd make sure everyone I love is comfortable and spend a bit of time travelling for a few years.

I'd probably still play at business to keep me busy (and out of an eternal khole) but not so much I have to get made about laptop deliveries and the incompetence of others. I have tons of ideas every day and I'd love an almost infinite amount of money. Like I've always wanted to own a nightclub that I'd just steer but let other people run and then that would probably lead into a festival. Maybe a restaurant as well. Shit I know isn't good on paper but creatively bags of fun.

I deffos couldn't see me retiring to do nothing. I would spend a lot of money on cars though.

Not bought tickit year 200 mill be tmeted 🤣 watching world cup huhhh on i pay bill mopy year sort familyes out pepes no rocket i away
