The next two weeks will be busy! The time has arrived for Eurovision, Charles' Coronation... and another UK Number One Survivor! :disco: The year for this edition that we are zooming in on is 1993.

30 years ago saw release of the live action Super Mario movie (a considerable wait to fast forward now, before he'd get another cinematic release), Mae Jemison become the first real-life astronaut making her debut in Star Trek and Dannii Minogue releasing a cover of Melba Moore's "This Is It" (sadly not in this game :( )

So let's get to the UK number ones! 19 different songs are in contention for this edition. Who will reign supreme?

Well first things first, we need to lose some of the filler.

So in this first round you are voting to EVICT UP TO 9 SONGS you most want to GET THE CHOP before the next round. Start voting now!

If this survivor is not won by Mr Vain, or just possibly No Limit, I think that we will have to go ahead and delete the forum.

I think the only song I ever enjoyed LuLu on was Relight My Fire.

I don't hate any of these

Not even Lulu

Infinitely better than the dry 1994 run

I did NOT remember Mr Vain getting to #1.

Don't care for it personally. When you think of some of the dance songs in 1993 that didn't get to number one...

Apart from Blobby, there's not a bad song there. I almost went for Whitney because it's from 1992, but I couldn't bring myself to!

Four weeks at number one. It was HUGE!

I'm glad it kept Bananarama in gin and cocaine for three decades, but Young at Heart is insufferable.
