2000 was NOT a good year for Madge, so this feels like the right result

How she went from the majesty of Ray Of Light to Ali G...

Music was a magnificent follow up to Ray of Light. Ali G was only in a video (that was very popular when released) so that’s an unfair point.

I watched the Madonna at the BBC programme this week and it had a 'pop up video' thing going on, and one of the facts was that Ali G was unknown in the US at the time, which I'm not sure I'd realised

Somehow no longer erased banger Toca's Miracle is the new FAVOURITE.

Oh come on, you didn’t expect Moopy to keep that? That and Pure Shores are as much sacred cows as some of the Spice No.1s. Especially with the gays who make out they’re too cool for the Spices

Black Coffee is the best All Saints song and I am clearly not too cool for the Spices.

Oh I’m with you there (well maybe Pure Shores edges it) but … oh am I going to say SOME PEOPLE again and get in trouble … some people don’t know how to SPICE UP

Wasn’t it you who spent all the 90’s (or at least the 98 and 99 survivors) being too cool for Spice? :bad:

That is not my recollection, no :)

I think I was against the Spice fans just flashmobbing their songs to the top, because I like diversity. Don’t you? :o

Whah’s a yellow man in Timbuktu if not proper diversity?

But Black Coffee is such a watery album filler song, I didn’t think even Mopsy would be that bothered about it.

Black Coffee is great. It’s not as good as it’s older sibling but it still is a damn fine track.

'Black Coffee' and 'Rocksteady' are the only two songs by All Saints that I actually like. The rest of their output is not for me.
