MORNING!

I’m at Manchester airport, tired and irritable.

I’ve decided airports would actually be quite fun without humans.

OT: I have no idea where to post this, but can anyone recommend a jazz club/ restaurant in London where you can get dinner whilst listening to some live smooth jazz?

The Jazz Cafe sometimes does gigs where you can buy dinner tickets. That's more for a specific act though. Background jazz I'm not too sure.

Theres also Ronnie Scotts which is a jazz bar, but I've never been. Worth looking at, but I'm not sure if it's the same deal as the Jazz Cafe.

I’m on a delayed flight heading to London. Disappointingly full flight for a Sunday morning.

Ronnie's is the obvious one, but I wondered if it was a bit rubbish nowadays considering it's so well known and therefore likely catering to a tourist crowd...

And yeah, the idea is more dinner with jazz rather than concert with food, if that makes sense.

It's not my scene so can't really comment but my parents still go to Ronnie's once in a blue moon and I think it's still fairly authentic. But probably not what you're after if you mean a more restaurant-with-music affair.

OT: JUST YOUR ANNUAL REMINDER, MOOPY, TO FIND OUT WHO DOES THE TRANSLATION WORK IN YOUR COMPANY AND SAVE SHEENA FROM DESTITUTION :disco:

It's more about the jazz than the food, but I want a sit down, meal thing rather than a mad gig thing.

And thanks for the tip- your olds still going suggest it's probably still quite good.

hi loves

I started drinking around 4 pm yesterday. I, however, do not seem to be hungover yay

Morning. Woke up at 6.30 and thought "NAH" so here we are. Listening to some Scott Walker and then I shall commence my usual Sunday TOTP shitposting.
