I thought this was good fun. And the child (from admittedly limited screentime) doesn't appear to be too annoying.

I had heard about the evacuation right at the start of the episode but it was still an 'OH!' moment.

Early episode this week and I'm really enjoying this. The dynamic between the central duo works well and most of the supporting characters leave you wanting more.

That was very enjoyable. It is a shame that most of the characters presumably won't be popping up in the next season - Lyonel Baratheon was especially good fun and Dunc was a bit miserable to pass up his offer.

I do hope they manage to get some more significant female roles in the next run. Flashback girl probably had the most lines in her 15 minute appearance.

I saw that piece. I agree with a lot of it, but House of the Dragon has had some thrilling moments as well as some iffy bits.

I thought this was merely decent. You could tell it was a much smaller budget. Potential.

Yeah this was great but I don't think it holds a candle to House Of The Dragon. I think people really were missing the humour and absurdity of Westeros, and AKOTSK brought that back effectively. I don't know the novellas so I don't know who is joining Dunk & Egg in Season 2, but they should find a way to keep Lyonel Baratheon in it - he was supporting actor award-worthy, although perhaps not in it enough.

It must have been so (comparitively) cheap to film this - 6 episodes, 30 minutes tops, and almost entirely set in one location!
