A rewatch TIMETABLE

I just found out you can watch MFs in the SVT site simply using Hola :o Oh dear, I so need this. If only I could find a way to download them.

yeah it’s very frustrating that they’re just waiting there, but I don’t trust VPNs :(

Could I put in a request for old Eurovisions on the late Saturday rewatches and national finals on the midweek ones? I'm much less interested in the National finals and I'm not going to be watching the late midweek rewatches anyway.

yes, I can swap them around as long as there’s no strong objections?

:D Also I’m thinking Lithuania 2007 FULL NATIONAL SELECTION. It might well go on for 63 hours but I just can’t wait to get frugging to Slapjack’s ‘Lust And Sexy Shadows’ and of course ‘Feel Your Lips’ by BARBÉ-Q :disco:

I would suggest putting Great British Song Contest 97 after Song For Europe 81 this Saturday as I worry that an hour long extra won't be enough for the more deranged parts of the group to pass out in a pool of their own vomit.

We'd then have space on 25 April to watch something horrid like Eurovision 1991, unless Alla wants that for his extravaganza.

Sorry. :( A Song For Europe 1981 can stay as I know you've been trying to get that on for a couple of weeks but AFTER THAT can we mainly have old Eurovisions on the late Saturday rewatches.

Or we COULD watch A Song For Europe 1981 tonight or tomorrow (it's only 55 minutes long), and have the 1981 ESC on Saturday after the main show. That would still happily fulfil my birthday requirement.

I appreciate that may be the sort of CRAZY TALK that brought us here, though.

Maybe ASFE81 after their silly Madonna thing tomorrow night?

I think this sounds like a good plan.

So A Song For Europe 81 Friday night, about 10.30/11pm - after Madonna Girlie Show

ESC 81 Saturday 18th, after the main one.

That then leaves the midweek later show on Weds 22nd free - would that work for one of yours, @Alla, or is yours more PRIMETIME?

@Suomi, can this be accommodated?

I wouldn't dare to call a MF related show primetime, given how some talibans react to anything MF related :side-eye: I'm working on it and it will be sensational, but do not cast pearls before swine.

Are you going to take that slot, then?

We learnt that lesson during Scavenger Hunt. There are enough of us here who will absolutely love it, so don't worry about c8ering to the h8ers.

I need the option to exchange it with TGBSC 97 next Wednesday if I don't have it ready, other than that fine.

Because I'm a sad old pervert, I've just watched the 1981 A Song For Europe ahead of the official presentation tomorrow. I'm certainly NOT going to promise you high quality songs, but I will guarantee Wogan scoring fuck ups, a song which I'd completely forgotten Leo Sayer covered and got a top ten hit with a year later, and her from Liquid Gold being even ropier than I remembered.

Plus one of the most sinister, chilling things I've ever seen on stage, Eurovision related or otherwise. And I'm including Rosie Ribbons having a bash at The Winner Takes It All, and The Woman In Black in that statement. Terrifying.
