A rewatch TIMETABLE (1 Viewer)

Yes, somewhere else he's said it's a CLASSIC which I guess means going a way back. I mean obviously half of the rewatches we've had so far are classics but I think he means something different.
 
We should choose a 70s one as a back up in case the official watch is something that we've already done.

As long as lockdown's still going I think I'll stick with them. Eurovision is for life, not just for springtime.
 
I can probably do one a week. But I have no desire to watch four a week.

I really don't know how you do it. My friends think I'm absolutely Eurovision obsessed. While I am, I'm also aware I don't even come close to SOME QUEENS Eurovision habits.
 
I think it's reasonable to ease off a bit now. We can probably follow the Eurovision Again rewatches whilst lockdown is on but we could cut the mid weeks back to one a month or so. Presumably this Wedenesday wouldn't be happening any way as many of us will be doing the Survivor game.

I just genuinely love the music - ever since I was younger the songs in Melodiestivalen and Eurovision would soundtrack my whole year!

Oh me too. But it's very seasonal for me though. From about now until January I'm out.

This year has been exceptional. I'm not sure all those rewatches have touched the thrill of a new show. They certainly partly scratched a certain itch, but it feels so inconclusive.
 
I'm planning to formally announce the karaoke contest later today, if nobody has any objections? Not sure of timings etc yet, I'll do a poll and see what the interest is like.
 
As long as none of this slows down the progress of ALLAFESTIVALEN II then I'm happy.

Well what's done is done. The drinking and insatiable appetites kinda ruined it a bit, but I wouldn't change the whole experience.

I think Moopy has found a new way to enjoy media - together.

I don't suppose it's any different to me and The Fall: I rarely, if ever, going a whole week without listening to The Fall and, some weeks, I can down 7 or 8 full albums and a bunch of singles over a couple of days.

Allafestivalen will happen Wed 27th, so please do not put anything else that day. I finished it already, so it's coming 100% guaranteed.

Eurovision is a far more immersive experience. Its audio and visual. It covers music, people, fashion, gender, sexuality, countries, politics, voting. It's clockwork and provides continuity. It can be overwhelming if not rationed (for me).

We still don't know if Kalavision is cancelled or postponed, I assume now that "Eurovision" is over Kala will log in soon and will let us know.
 
When the first 10 threads in the New Posts section are all Eurovision related maybe it’s time to DIAL IT BACK a bit.
 
Lockdown has done wonders to my lacking Euroeducation so I'm up to keeping the rewatches beyond Eurovision season.

Eurovision week is traditionally Moopy's peak for the year. Not sure that'll be the case this year.
 
No way will it be our peak. Looking at Indie's PotW graph, I think we'll have another fall this week.
 
Apparently the contest tonight is an ICONIC year for Bulgaria. Reckon that's a red herring clue to 1974 and the Wombles.
 
That sounds likely. They've also said that it's a coastal host city and the only year where the country of Bulgaria came top ten that they haven't done is 2017, hosted in Kiev.
 
I watched 1974 recently. Crappy quality mind, so this will be a treat.
