I'd prefer them all in one superfinal, more for the purpose of maintaining interest. If half of the contestants are knocked out early, I would have thought that would have a negative impact on the post count.
Plus I've braced myself for the indignity of nul points in the final, crashing out of a semi with nul is a whole different conversation with my counsellor.

Having semis would reduce post count makes absolutely no sense... you'd have 3 threads - Semi 1, Semi 2 and Final - and you'd definitely pick up more posts in total that way.

Having said that, if it's too much work to do semis then that's totally fair enough, cos Ag is clearly putting huge amounts of time into it.

But given that we have another round coming next, you better make sure to vote in the final even if eliminated, or Kala will give you a terrible slot in the next round.

You did give Ag your blessing to carry on and try out the first one, so let him run it how he sees fit and what works for him time-wise. We're all under different pressures at the moment so just chill out. This type of game can be run countless times in different formats. And there's a big difference in time commitment between running a single event in the form of a final, and running two semi-finals and a final.
