Song 1 - Yorktown this IMMEDIATELY has my attention. Not sure if it's the cool guitars or the SEXY LADIES.

Song 2 - Insulin erring between "not bad" and "pretty good" and I'm sure it'd grow on me if I were I listen to it more. The video is all a bit OFF PUTTING although that's clearly what they're going for
 
Song 4 - Luminescent oooh I think I know this? She's giving slightly CAMBRIDGE RAH TRIES OUT FOR A MUSIC CAREER and her voice doesn't match her look at all. Really cool "vibes" though. I'm clicking my fingers and my shoulders are shouldering (metaphorically)
 
Song 5 - Carlos, get in the car! Definitely more instant this one! It's weird but it's working for me. Can't imagine wanting to hear this in anything BUT an ASFM context.

Song 6 - Amplifier is this one of these CUTEBAD, UNPERFECT, XO identikit girl groups dub was obsessed with that kept appearing circa 2021-2023 and disappeared as quickly as they arrived?

This is a BAWP though. THE NEXT SPICE GIRLS?! (if they haven't split up yet)

Song 8 - Hadi Bakalim looooolll so interesting songs to put back to back. I love famous people making me feel bad for shit in the world from behind a microphone. I live in Trump's 2025, I think the 80s and 90s can take a backseat thank you!

Song wise however this is good! Very Eurovision 1990s. Sing some nonsense and back it up with some ba-da-ba-da-bum's

Song 10 - Seeing Is Believing - why does this sound kind of off? The disco beats are definitely worthy of a :disco: smilie I'm ON BOARD overall, bit it is a bit disjointed. Just haven't decided if in a good way or not

Song 12 - Champagne okay one of those monotone french songs where you feel you're getting told off/trodden on. It annoys me there are so many of these absolute French DIVAS and they insist on sending complete bilge to Eurovision every year. That voila woman has got a lot to answer for
 
Song 13 - Sieben Nächte ooh the whiplash from polished french bop to gritty German House vibes. This is a big YES but I love all this shit.
 
Song 14 - You Set Fire to my Life - hahahaha I know this well (no it's not mine!!) Tina has two random come back albums from the 10s that are both really good. I hadn't listened to this one for ages, but did last month randomly so it's funny seeing this pop up on here.

Yes, a bop. Not to be THAT PERSON but I'd have probably submitted something different from this album :david: but this undeniable at least
 
Song 15 - You can Have my Heart DIVAAAAAA. The whipped cream hairstyle is worth my 12 alone. The song being yes yes yes's across the board only HELPS. Get rid of that gormless man doing nothing though. The song really is ALL BUILD UP, ALL EDGING
 
Song 16 - Catalyst I thought this was about to be a come down after the last one, but NOPE. This is very BIG. I'm not quite sure it stays up "there" for the entire time though

Song 17 - Azimuth I know this, but only from the last week or so! I'm not SO BOWLED over by Ms. Polachek like some of y'all, and Danny L Harle has some misses too, but this is an absolutely tasty treat from them both and I DO LIKE IT. I'll leave it at that
 
Song 19 - Still the Same - hmmm

A bit too COOL after everything that came before it. I can imagine enjoying this in the right environment though.

"song 21" - Jackie Collins reads the lyrics to Woman's World by Cher - oh yeah I remember seeing this on the list :D probably shouldn't have moaned about the talking on the previous song :D why is she reading the lyrics from the middle of a BOOK. She's not exactly a NATURAL is she considering she's a writer herself? Sorry, RIP and all that.
