Oh I'm sorry I didn't realise we had to do things at the times we said we were going to do them for online contests on Moopy. I thought we could just leave it hanging indefinitely.

You can choose any song you like and private message me with a link to it on YouTube and Spotify. Tell me what country you'd like to be or just say you'd like me to choose for you. No pressure though if you'd have a change of heart but it's good fun!
 
Not having semis actually adds to the excitement. If you enter a flop, it doesn't matter because at least everyone will still be in it right to the VERY END. And taking a risk/entering what you want/any old shit is way more fun as a result.

When I did ASFM, with all 30 something posters invested and gagging for a result I think it really made a exciting topic.

I kinda missed Soldi's final, so dunno how that was with fewer posters involved, but I enjoyed being in the final.

I didn't even bother voting in the Kalavision final, having been knocked out. I didn't care anymore.
 
I think knockout is more interesting generally but I'm a sucker for knockout competitions generally, e.g. reality tv etc. Elimination is the best bit often. :D

It was definitely diminished somewhat by some posters having already checked out by the final, and the fact we'd already voted on the songs and heard them for awhile. Obviously it was still amazing and Soldi did a stellar job, it's just this format means you never lose momentum. I'm sure there's room for both though.

Plus we're clearly all impatient fucks and need it all FAST and RIGHT NOW
