I was looking through the old ASFMs last night to find out what songs were in them (A hiding to nothing as they didn't include the fucking artist names), and the 2020 contests feel so glossy and ordered by comparison. By this time next year we'll be renting studio space and roping in Tanita Tikaram and Sam Bailey to judge the entries.
