To be honest I think that’s best (the no semi finals) because it keeps everyone included and more likely to stay involved in the competition in terms of posting. I’m not against changes for variety now and then but know that once I and some others were bumped out of Kalavision I didn’t look at the thread again. Admittedly it was hard to be bothered anyway with that particular version.
 
We have tried semi finals and most of us disliked it, so let’s keep this popular format as it is.

After a whole year of ASFM we have plenty of ASFM classics that we could use in knock out rounds (like an All Star season).
 
I’m going basic bitch next time. Well, the next non-themed one. Unless I get my basic bitch’s country.

This rules out 1 of them at least.

It's came to my atten'shonne that some entities just can't help trying to identify MY songs in every ASFM. Whatever works I guess, but rather trite all the same.
 
I'm confused, so are some songs getting chopped? How come? Where does it say so?

I came 3rd in my one and only karaoke performance with my take on this which everyone of all ages there seem to know. I think they thought my accent was cute because I haven’t a note in my head.




I don’t think this song disproves any theories.

I think whoever is running whatever competition will ultimately be able to do whatever they like with the format. Personally, listening to 50 songs in 48 hours is a bit of a chore for me. I MUCH preferred the semi final system, and if I recall correctly while the majority liked no semis, there was a substantial minority that wanted semis.
 
Top 15 selected, now to order them. It’s all happening. I know my top spot. The rest is undecided.
 
After my harrowing J*ssie * experience earlier today, A*M*E (not actually censored) has been the perfect pick-me up :disco:
 
I played these during work yesterday and a lot seemed better as audio than video. It could be that I wasn’t listening intently either to be fair.
 
I've finally attached enough for all points slots. Happy with my order, but will listen again later to finalise it. I'm pleased that without audio the same songs stuck and struck.
