A song for TUESDAY

American goulash is quite different from Eastern European goulash isn't it? Which did you make?

It was only in this moment that I learned that there are different goulashes. I made American goulash it turns out. I’ll try the other one next, because it looks delicious.

It seems like they are two completely different foods, and the American one is also called Chop Suey, which I’ve only known as a song

You call that dish chop suey? That's a very different dish again in the UK.

I’ve never eaten or made anything called chop suey or goulash before today, and I wouldn’t have been able to tell you at all what either were. But I guess so?

it is good and was extremely easy to make so I’d recommend

This is what I made IN YOUR NAME

Ha wtf? Thats basically 'spag bol' but with macaroni!

THIS IS CHOP SUEY

Is Chop Suey an authentic Chinese dish, or an invention for the British palate like chicken tikka masala?

Someone come and take the computer away from me please.

@big ron I’m sorry about any distress I caused you. I can’t say I have very strong opinions about this matter but I hope you find peace

American biscuits are delicious, they’re just a different food than British biscuits

To be honest I'm more interested in the gravy. I mean, it's not GREAT BRITISH GRAVY, but that sounds delicious.

I'm OK now, I had a lie down and reminded myself to focus on the things I can control and let go of the things I can't, like why the dish is not only NOT two other dishes, but is also called Johnny Marzetti FOR NO KNOWN REASON

Thanksgiving turkey gravy and the gravy in “biscuits and gravy” are two completely different things btw

It means butt, but like kind of childish/old-fashioned way to say it

Then it's your biscuit gravy I'm interested in - that's the pale creamy one with sausage meat in it, isn't it?

Yes it is. I’ve only had it a few times. I prefer my biscuits with jam or fried chicken
