Feel like I’ve seen the last one on a panel show too but I may be confusing her with another headscarf-wearing comedian like a big racist.

I saw him at a live show for How Did This Get Made earlier this year and he mentioned he’d been in London filming for a few weeks, so that’d line up.

Interested in how he copes with some of the more physical tasks given he’s a massive germophobe, but I have high hopes. Though I’d of course rather it was June Diane Raphael :disco:
 
Fatiha El-Ghorri is on a recent Live At The Apollo and I was impressed with her.
 
Fatiha divided my own opinion tonight. She got easily the most laughs from me - but then irritated me as I hate contestants that don’t bother trying the tasks and she didn’t even vaguely attempt the final task (I thought she was being clever and not taking part til the last 10 seconds or something so she didn’t have to lose any raisins by not saying her name)…
 
She was a lot of fun. Stubborn and abrasive, but just the right measure (according to the edit). Apparently Greg goes on to embrace her as a sparring partner throughout the rest of the series.

I thought it was a really nice cast, the making of a classic, you got abrasive, manic, frustrated, mumsy and posh.

Fan fact: Stevie Martin's sister helped make upskirting illegal.
 
I'm watching it tonight but I'm excited about Fatiha, there's a great recording of her doing Live At The Apollo.
 
I was worried Jason might be too performative, which was a big reason Taskmaster USA lacked the same charm. But he really seemed to embrace it wholeheartedly and in the right spirit.
 
Fatiha was great on Outsiders a few years ago, which was essentially Lockdown Taskmaster, so I'd be surprised if she's not similar on Taskmaster proper.

I think if you make that much effort to go on the show, you're gonna embrace it regardless of what else he's gonna get up to. I suspect he's seen more episodes than say Stevie, who didn't know what the Lab was!
 
I don’t really understand why Rosie Ramsey is there.

Enjoying the new series so far. Fatiha and Jason are hilarious and I have a little crush on Mathew already.

Because of Chris I assume. The whole Taskmaster family seems very incestuous. Not that I’m accusing Chris and Rosie of being brother and sister…

I have the biggest crush on Chris and would like rid of her for that reason.
 
This is turning out to be a really great cast.

Matthew Baynton showing scrotum the clear highlight, but they're all delightful. Fatiha an absolute star, and Jason is clearly having the time of his life.
 
It's one of the best casts for many many series'. Absolutely chaotic.
 
Really pleased (and surprised!) to see Fatiha get an episode win. 😍
 
Over the weekend I broke my three year Taskmaster fast with this series so far and I LOVE THEM ALL! We are so back. I'm sad I now have to wait weekly for the remaining eps

Fatiha is a hostile joy. And few Taskmaster things have made me lol more than Baynton's 'wardrobe malfunction' and Stevie absolutely fucking it with the grabber and the breakfast drink.
 
I've just discovered Stevie is married to Adam Riches :o (probably best known for doing Sean Bean on Cats Does Countdown)
 
Absolutely batshit again last night. A special treat for anyone who feels they want to see Mat Baynton in a highly submissive role :thumbsup:
