A thread for interesting MAPS

Enough of this madness, all lies :oi: that figure that is shitting is more a Cataluña than Spanish tratition, even when it's popular everywhere. Mind you in the South there was another controversial figure in the Nativity scene, an old lady carrying a potty pot full of piss that she was going to empty in the streets. My granny had one but i've haven't seen it again, probably a lost tradition there.Yes, that old woman was probably Martha Skidd.

It's like if you don't poo at all, with all the shit you eat is hard to believe! o_O O_o o.O O.o

We had direct flights too and I wanted to but it never happeed. I can imagine the old Lithuanian/Polish/Prussian towns to be really interesting, but maybe not much has survived.

Not particularly, it's very small and there's not lots there. I enjoyed it though, we had a good afternoon walking around and it made for an interesting concert location as 10,000 fans appeared out of nowhere in this tiny town :D

We went to Vilnius by train on the day after the concert which was obviously a marked difference.

And if bridges are your thing, you won't find many urban bridges more beautiful than the Clifton Suspension Bridge.

I'd love to have a nose around Königsberg, but I guess that's off the cards for while.

Come to think of it, I should probably book a flight to Taiwan sooner rather than later if I ever want to go there.

I’m sure the other French departments have different names too.

Maybe I’m wrong, maybe it’s FRANCE 1, FRANCE 2, FRANCE 3 etc

I saw the same map yesterday on this account, and while I already knew about the Brazil border, I found the most ”shocking” part is that the Belgian border is longer than the Spanish ditto. :o
 
Don't blame me, blame the people who make maps. Yes, French Guyana and the like are fully integrated parts of France. So why don't maps just say "France"? (As they would do with the USA and Alaska)

Maybe French maps do. I don't look at French maps.

(P.S. this is all entirely tongue-in-cheek. Disputing a country's constitution? Sure, I'm entirely being serious)

There is Metropolitan France and there is France. You’re referring to the former, the map to the latter.

Also map guys: oh, we didn't label it as France because we only call the Metropolian bit of France France.
