A 90s classic and one of the few great contributions to art from a tory, in my opinion.

BUT WHAT DO YOU THINK?

A total ten and the less-remembered Everything My Heart Desires is ALMOST as good!

God I've not heard or thought of that in like 20 years, yet remember it FULLY. Not a patch on I Breathe Again for me though.

I'm now doing an Adam Rickitt deep dive and it turns out it was Boris Johnson who got him in to politics personally? EVIL -

Fun fact: EMHD had a heroes journey from J.Lo reject to MANDY MOORE ALBUM TRACK to Adam Rickitt make-or-break single.

It’s MAGNIFICENT

I STILL have it in my gym playlist to this day.

Easily within my Top Ten greatest songs of all time, although apparently he HATED being a popstar despite signing a multi-album deal.
THIS is crying out for a Steps remake (and has the vocal range for a LSL lead):

I even bought the album but can’t remember ever listening to more than to I Breathe Again.

But re-listening again it sounds a little more Steps and less dancey end of 90’s trash which is a bit upsetting. I blame the cheap Melodifestival-esque chorus. It’s the moaning and the intrumental bits that makes it :disco: for me.

We really need to support modern straight men in being allowed to be cute little twinks again, instead of roided up Love Island clones.

I always wondered why the lovely EXTENDED MIX was so hard to come by and the TAROT reveals that it was only released on CASSINGLE  and this lovely compilation

YES. I still play this occasionally and can't believe something so good was thrown out as an Adam Rickitt album track :D How someone didn't snaffle it up to be equally forgotten on another flop album is beyond me.

Madam Rickitt always came across as quite a peculiar individual. Was he a candidate Tory MP at some point?

Either way, I always hated this.

What a rap sheet:

- On 21 September 2007, Rickitt was arrested and charged with shoplifting a block of cheese, a bottle of HP sauce and a jar of coffee beans from an Auckland supermarket. He later claimed that he was drunk at the time of the incident.

- In August 2020 Rickitt drove 600m whilst under the influence of alcohol to pick up a takeaway.
