Yeah can we really stop just deleting accounts casually? Basically every single one that's happened recently has had the member return within a week, and it's a fucking annoyance losing the ability to easily find posts from a given account.

Obviously in emergency situations like Kratz's back in the day that's one thing, but I really think we should have a proper enforced cooling off period of at least a couple of weeks (hell, even a month) if someone's throwing their toys out of the pram in the moment. As has literally been the case every time it's happened over the last year or two.

Considering this is a hive of FLOUNCING I do think we should have something in place. Sure there are some DPA type considerations though.

I don’t think deletion should be done except in extreme cases personally. If you want to leave that bad grow the fuck up and go.
