Can we talk about how brilliant this is? Just as good as Magic Still exists, and Love Songs might be her best song ever.

Love Songs is Nr 35 on Spotify Sweden. Is this the highest she’s been since Fingers crossed ?

I think it makes more sense to combine the threads into one Beautiful Madness thread… most of the posts in that thread are about the album anyway.

I really can’t understand why she isn’t bigger. Even on a Robyn- esque level. The album isn’t even being released physically in this country from what I can see- I’ve had to order my copy from a Danish store.
 
Oh and if anyone fancies a ticket for the gig on Wednesday, we have a spare one going in our GANG. Face value etc.

I know, it really did seem like it was a recording at first. Very impressive.
 
I mean, there’s a reason why she won Idol, I guess, but her vocals have improved since her Melodifestivalen days.

Talking of which, I know she famously hated the experience, but you have to wonder if a run at Eurovision might be a route to Loreen level recognition at least…
 
She just needs 1 breakout hit! A Dancing on my own type of grower that will just become bigger with time .. maybe Love Songs might be the one to finally do it

3. Ego ( brilliant in the context of the album)

9. Beautiful Madness

I also love all the Interludes, don’t get why people get so pissed off with them. I love how they make the songs breathe, and how it makes it sound like a proper album, not just a brunch of songs.

Trigger could be usurped by LOVESONGS. it's all really solid, I agree. I think probably Magic Still Exists edges it though, a combined top 5 would mostly come from that.

I think it’s partly because it’s such a short album and it looks like 15 songs. But I don’t mind them at all…

I get goosebumps every time the intro to Love Songs starts.. just love it so much
 
I don't get too up for gigs in advance- although I love going to them, it's not until I'm THERE that I get into it.

I genuinely cannot remember the last time I've been this excited ahead of time. By this point, she's in my top ten artists ever probably and I've never seen her live in any format.

All of that is true for me as well and I'm SO excited for tonight, while tempering my expectations of her as a live act considering she's SO untested bar a few (admittedly great) TV appearances.

There seem to be rave reviews for her Stockholm gig though from what I've managed to see without spoiling the setlist for myself so my excitement for the actual show element of tonight is building too.

Snap, ignored the set list entirely but have seen a clip or two that suggests she can very much hold her own.

I have seen one clip of Balenciaga covered eyes and she sounds incredible and completely effortless
 
Enjoy, I’m abroad so gutted to miss it. Sending some friends on my behalf instead.

She better be back or at least tour Sweden later this year!
 
I genuinely hope she puts on a fab show for you all, but I have been wondering if it might turn into a Brandy style piss-take where she sings 5 songs and none of them is Release Me. :D
