Album sync - All Saints - Red Flag - TONIGHT: 20:00 GMT plus BONUS TESTAMENT relisten :disco:

Yes! I was so excited when they announced they were back. Much moreso when they came back with Studio 1 (and this was before hearing anything and being able to judge)
Everything about the Studio 1 comeback was ill timed, half arsed and basically just off, but the music itself was fabulous.

Wasn't there a performance of this on The One Show or possibly Moopy fave BBC Breakfast that everyone was shaking and crying to as well :D

One Woman Man is so gooorge in the verses. the chorus feels like a curveball being so upbeat but it totally works. the strings!

and the middle 8 really CLASSIC ALL SAINTS.

of all the girl groups there can't be many whose voices complement each other better.

08 One Strike
09 One Woman Man

10 One Strike
10 One Woman Man

TIED for my favorite All Saints song. I like that they are both sophisticated for girl group songs, but don't sacrifice being either catchy or emotional

I think this story is from the Testament tour, but whatever I'll tell it.

@Iguana and I had tickets to see them so would get the tube into London after work and meet at the venue.

On that day the whole 02 network went down so we couldn't phone call, text or use 4G for WhatsApp. I got off the train, walked to Brixton 02 academy and all the touts were shouting "MILES KANE!" "TICKETS FOR MILES KANE". "Oh he must be performing in a pub around here" I thought.

Nope. His name was there in bright lights at the Brixton 02 academy. Checked my tickets. They were at Hammersmith. :manson:

Can't call @Iguana, can't text, so panicked make my way back to the station thinking I'll just have to get there when I get there and hope for the best.

Walking down the stairs of the station and IGUANA IS WALKING UP THEM THE OTHER WAY. He'd completely randomly made the some mistake as me. It was so weird. But such a relief. :D

:D!

Also I typed that all over One Woman Man which is SO GOOD and Natalie really shines in it. Has the One Show perf been mentioned yet?

Make U Love Me is great too. While the melody is not as strong as the preceding two, they were right to stick such a dirty beat on it and keep the investment high. :disco:

We were SO lucky to have bumped into each other!!

Make U Love Me is such a VIBE NUMBER. it's always been a fave, those LOWER REGISTER VOX (and distorted backing vox) are so... dirty. :disco:

08 One Strike
09 One Woman Man
09 Make U Love Me

It's a shame that @ZenGiraffe hasn't joined us, I think a slice of sophisticated (but NOT boring) adult girlwomanband pop would be just the ticket for his ongoing "there's more to life than Gaga" series of life lessons :tongueout:

Agree with every word and the ratings. I can't choose between them either.

I should mention that I've forgotten about half of this album as it's been years, but it's all coming back to me as I listen. Summer Rain is gorge.

Pop was at such a low point when this came out it was my album of 2016!

07 Make U Love Me - I think this one might need repeat listens

I'm relieved but also sad that Summer Rain isn't a Belinda Carlisle cover
