Overall there was quite a bit of Poundland about her output, but this came on earlier and really is a phenomenal pop song. Pitbull actually adds well to it and that chorus is one for the ages.

What do we all think?

I much preferred her when she was emphatically (and expensively) pop-targeged and each single clearly hitting a different mark each time. This opened out her biosphere into a dreamy disco that has remained my absolute favourite. Her popsicle groove summit.

lush banger, better without Pitbull. the verses are such a dream. it's kinda crazy that they did her so wrong with album 2 off the back of so many proper hits. the British music industry had (has...) no idea what to do with black women.

Her debut was stacked with hits. The way she fell off when she was perfect for turn of the turn-of-the-decade pop landscape. They squandered the woman who gave us that Beyoncé moment.

Frankly it's better than I'D BE ABLE TO DO

[at the X Factor final]
me: oh my god... I can't believe I'm about to introduce this woman to the stage tonight... one of the greatest recording artists of all time... MOLLIE KING

[Mollie comes onstage to perform a duet of Hair Down (power ballad version) with me and makes a sound like a frog licking its eyeballs for ninety seconds. I finish 4th out of 3 finalists]

For me she is The Curious Case of - which would actually be a great title for a comeback album for her - she had e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g - she could sing, she danced she looked fucking amazing - and for that she had to die, I think, just a little bit too good for the British - so they waited for their moment, and, as far as I recall, they decided that that moment was when she said OK.com - that was enough. If only Donald Trump had said OK.com we could have been saved so much recent trauma.

It was all about Broken Heels and Dumb for me.

Whatever's going down ladies take the biggest cock

She did a doo doo

You go hard yes you do

I keep trying to go deep but you don't have a deep end

I forgot that it was OK.com that torpedo'd her public image in the UK

Truly a hateful nation
