All inclusive Madonna CHART STATS, CERTS & STREAMS thread (2 Viewers)

Yeah this is doing far better than I would’ve expected. Madame X was already out of the top 200!

Comparing confessions II to chart runs so far of those cursed Interscope studio albums

MDNA UK 1-7-13 USA 1-8-18
Rebel Heart UK 2-7-21 USA 2-21-34
Madame X UK 2-14-21. USA 1-77-OUT
Confessions II UK 1-9-14. USA 1-12-31

A double win of Warner having done an excellent job building up her streaming numbers* over the past few years and this era being a career highlight and a marketing blueprint for contemporary campaigns. I'm confident this album is going to stick around a lot longer than its predecessors chartwise.

*They should have stopped her unleashing that nightmarish drivel with Sam Smith to the world, though.

65k or so now which is great. If it drops around a third this week, which seems sensible, it could grab a fifth in the top 75 which would be good.

I find it quite interesting to see how it's streaming daily a few weeks in, when you can see how favourites are being established. Although clearly the list is still heavily impacted by track order.

Spotify 01/08/2026

397k Bring Your Love
354k Danceteria
176k Bizarre
166k I Feel So Free
153k Read My Lips
152k One Step Away
123k Good For The Soul
115k Love Sensation
99k Everything
99k Love Without Words
97k School
85k Fragile
76k My Sins Are My Saviour
57k Betrayal
52k L.E.S. Girl
48k The Test

So I noticed on Apple Music that for my July replay, I barely had any Madonna when I played the album all month. Then I noticed that the ICON edition (which is what I was mainly playing because it was the first one in my list) is not on Apple Music now and none of the plays are showing for it. Does that mean those streams aren’t counted any longer? I have no idea how this shit works.

I feel like they need to push Bizarre after Love Sensation. It just needs to happen! Then we can get onto Fragile/LES Girl for xmas. Lets just do the whole albam!

CD sales just shy of 11K is not bad at all. Yes it is a combined fanbase but it gives Warner a clear signal the the fanbase is engaged and willing to purchase physicals.

I remain slightly NARKED that Finally Enough Love has totally cannibalised sales of The Immaculate Collection.

I still don’t really get it. Like the versions on it aren’t the original/IMC ones (are they?). So to count the normal songs streams seems a bit not right. But I guess the charts are indeed confusing.

I see the album also nabbed a 6th week in the chart, which is brilliant in an era when physical acts are lucky to make the top 100 on week two.

To be honest I'm lost with a lot of the versions/edits used. But calling it a 'remix album' always feels like it's pushing it to me, when the earlier hits (which are getting the most streams) are 7" versions, radio versions and edits rather than remixes as most people consider them.

Oh hun they’ll shift it all back to TIC when it’s 40th anni comes round, trust
