Is it just my imagination or have they given Anne a little more to do this series than in series one? Obviously it's more than she had in Motherland, but I feel like they are purposely developing her and fleshing her out a bit during this. Very sensible if so.

Finished this tonight, really enjoyed it. Felicity turning into Patsy more and more smoking on the sofa.

Four episodes in and enjoying it a lot, though some of it seems a tad forced this time around.

I don’t really need the side plots either. I don’t care about the lesbians beyond them being foils for Amanda to be a dick about.

Also, far too much time at those bloody football matches.

I guess the football matches are to this what the school gates were to Motherland. But I'm not massively fond of that aspect either, and it is the only bit that feels slightly forced to me.

I can’t really focus on Amandaland like I did Motherland. I don’t like most of the supporting characters and it just doesn’t grab me in the same way. I don’t hate it but it’s just kinda there for me compared to Motherland which was hilarious.
