An Allsång på Skansen thread

Unsure where to put this, but figured the overlap meant it fit well here and would have the best chance of finding an audience.

Does anyone else watch regularly? It's back tonight. It's frequently baffling but it makes me dead happy. I've made it a recent summer tradition.

I thought I'd check out who's performing on show 1. No surprises: KAJ of course, Zara Larsson, Medina, a few Swedish acts I don't know - including one called Morrissey, sharing their name with the mental British singer!

Anyway, as of yesterday he's pulled out of this and his whole Scandinavia tour. Which is for the best, but what a shame to miss the sight of Morrissey performing a new song to a crowd of disinterested Swedes, before a stunning rendition of Islands in the Stream with Pernilla Wahlgren

Last week's didn't wow me, but I loved tonight's! Although I can't believe they wheeled out Leva Livet / It's My Party AGAIN.

Sarah Dawn Finer was a fun highlight, though I probably would've preferred our Pernilla just doing a straight performance of Husavik.

As a very light Melodifest observer I'd not seen Dolly Style before. I definitely expected something more polished than the Swedish Katie Price / Jodie Marsh-esque figures I was met by

Currently watching this week's and I was VERY MUCH NOT EXPECTING Linus Wahlgren and Ol' Rocky Twink Death to sing Beauty & the Beast followed by Tomorrow from Annie

Google tells me they're Sweden's answer to BALL AND BOE, though. Another upgrade from the Swedes
