Angela Lansbury DEAD

Yes, Murder She Wrote catapults me instantly back to my Gran's house on a Sunday evening. Just thinking about it I can feel the fabric of her sofa (well, she called it a settee) and smell the chicken soup.

Oh dear :( between her and Betty those are the surrogate grandmas of my childhood gone. But both in their late 90s, it’s hard to feel shocked but it’s still sad
 
Gutted about this. An unproblematic legend, with a back catalogue that featured legendary moments across stage, tv, film AND fitness video.

I'm pleased she beat the Queen at living.
 
Aw, shame - I liked Murder She Wrote. It was always fun when you spotted a cameo (or, someone you'd seen in another Sunday afternoon TV show). She was awfully good tho'.
 
R.i.p. - I used to quite enjoy the odd episode of Murder she wrote.
