That'll teach me to re-watch Buffy. Two actors dead in the time it took me to rewatch it.

Maybe i should watch stuff with people i don't like in it.
 
That's a shocker. An 80s icon in the Gold Blend adverts, a 90s/00s icon in Buffy. Giles coming back to face off vs Willow at the end of Season 6 is one of my all-time favourite TV moments. RIP.

Was he unwell? I'm sure I saw him interviewed not so long ago and he looked ok.

It's the Nescafe adverts I most associate him with.
 
So crap for his daughters, assuming his partner is their mother, both parents passing away within 6 months of each other.
 
Oh wow. He was in Motherland too, but remember him mostly from Ted Lasso.
 
This is so sad. He was perfect as Giles. Awful to think how many of the cast they’ve lost recently.

And his partner only died in December! :(
 
His Archers character was meant to be flying in to Ambridge for visit in the next few weeks. I wonder if he recorded any lines before becoming ill.
