"Roar" could have been nice if it wasn't for those terrible strangled-cat-like vocals and the awful live performances that went with it.
The Sarah Bareilles (or however she was called) song it was copy-pasted from was much more pleasant.

I don't know if I just don't remember this or never saw it, but I'm belatedly impressed by this performance. I'm still ambivalent toward the song, and it does sound a bit MESSY to these ears, but it kind of works. I also like the subtle '08-'09 Gaga references she did in some of these performances.

Not that this is perfect, but it just highlights how amatureish "Perfect Illusion" sounds to me

Pokemon Applause is fantastic. And also Applause has been upgraded to a 10. It's her best single after Alejandro (and Venus).

Why did I ever give this an 8? TEN TEN TEN

I listened to ARTPOP off my cunt over the weekend and it makes total sense now - even the likes of Swine and Jewels n Drugs - in a way that it just didn't then. It's her best album.

I'd upgrade this to a 10 as well now.

I don't think I'm in the mood to subject myself to the album in all its GLORY, though.

No idea whatโ€™s brought this on apart from the possible threat of imminent death but Iโ€™m having a Gaga Sunday and Iโ€™d like to upgrade my score to 21. God it really is thrilling and oh! the FITTING in the video :disco: x EVERYTHING EVER
 
ARTPOP is her best album and this uncompromising HORROR is exactly what it had to launch with :disco:
 
ARTPOP really brought in the best and worst in her.. Still living for VENUS, DO WHAT U WANT, AURA, MANICURE, APPLAUSE, GYPSY and especially ARTPOP (the song)!

I never QUITE clicked with this. Maybe coming after The Fame and Born This Way(to some extent) it just felt underwhelming.
