Appreciate ROXETTE.

FINALLY MY PLAN TO BE LENA'S BEST FRIEND IS GOING TO COME TO FRUITION :disco:

Oh so it’s Lena singing with Per now? Someone I know had gone to see them and said they weren’t sure if it felt right billing it as Roxette and having some “random” singer on vocals.

To be fair, I doubt I'd have much interest unless it was her, but I mean, it's LENA FOR FUCK'S SAKE!

They've been peddling this since the start of the year- a rather successful tour of South Africa and Australia, which seemed to go down very well.

We got tickets 😍

Block B thanks to Mandy.

Can't afford it at all, but also couldn't miss this opportunity. I grew up listening to them on a daily basis.

£75 plus fees for Block B, row A. So not bad. Cheaper at the back, about £50.

Yeah, it was £41 + fees for on the floor, towards the rear, which in Wembley Arena, isn't bad at all.

To be fair, our front row seats were £200 but I'd pay DOUBLE that to be FRONT ROW FOR LENA FUCKING PHILIPSSON.

(A little less for Roxette, admittedly).

Now, I know it's not happened anywhere yet, but the campaign to let OLD PER give her a bash at DANSA I NEON on SELECTED DATES begins HERE :disco:

(Cause let's face it...he ain't gonna let her have a bash at LENA ANTHEM. People would be TEARING UP THE SEATS :disco: :disco: :disco:)

Some UK QUEER has just bought THREE Lena CDs off me on Discogs this morning and I'd like to think it's ROXETTE RELATED given the timing.

LENA TO BE UK CHRISTMAS NUMBER ONE CAMPAIGN STARTS HERE.

Actually those prices look rather ok. If there’s still tickets later I may just grab some

I just can't get my head around wanting to see them at all unless you're a Lena fan.

Well, or if Per particularly moistens your gusset, but I'm guessing that's a limited market.

But not the singer I'd want.

I appreciate there are obviously enough people who can get over that if they are doing a tour this big, but it's not for me.

I think because I didn’t bother back when the actual band toured Melbourne about 13 years ago and have somewhat regretted it since. I know it’s not the same, but it’s as close as I’ll get and at a price circa £50 I’ll go.

If it was like £100 for crap seats then a definite no.

As long as people are aware that Marie has died and aren't going to be surprised by this - they can easily look up Lena signing these songs and choose that way. I personally think she has been an even better choice than I first imagined.

I fear it's not selling very well- I got front row seats RATHER EASILY they morning they were released and they've suddenly gone on an aggressive marketing campaign on socials about it.

From a quick glance, most of the upper tier is marked as unavailable, which suggests they've just roped it off for now. You can easily get floor tickets still...

Per's voice on this :zombie:

It is very nineties, and the descent into naff RAWK OUT by the end is unfortunate.

Seems like a pretty good HD up-scrub by their standards. Still an incredible vocal showcase for Marie. The Sue Barker years always tickle me.
