Not at all! Like, I wouldn't want to die painfully, but I'm very zen about the whole MORTALITY thing. It's other people dying that I worry about more.

I just can’t get my head around there being nothing and not even being aware that it’s all over.

Not really. Sometimes at night I think deeply about it and get sad about not existing, but then I realise that I won't know it's happening and it might be quite peaceful.

I'm afraid of dying before my parents and upsetting them.

All the time, every headache is a stroke, if I’m fatigued then it’s the cancer eating me from the inside and so on....

I never want to die. I will not go willingly. I will hold on to life with every fibre of my being.

Yes, don't know why really.

Actually one thing that really upsets me recently is if I were to die of covid, my children would never really remember me. Don't know why I think of covid, because I could get run over by a bus tomorrow. But anyway that's why I wear excessive ppe even though it's uncomfortable.

I don’t want a quick death. When I go, I want to milk it for all it’s worth.

Yes, it’s this for me. Like, I can’t comprehend the idea of not existing. My mind crashes at the thought of it.

Same as a lot of people. I'm scared of pain, but not death.

I think I'm just scared of old age and losing my youth. I find that terrifying actually.

I'd like to live a rich, full life and then die at the tail end of middle age in an instant way, like being run over by a train or something.

It depends.

Let's put it this way: if I got run over by a bus tomorrow and died, no problem. But if I found out tomorrow I had terminal cancer and 6 months to live then I'd be terrified.
I think I’d prefer it the other way round.

I get that. I think part of it is probably not having children and wanting to see them independent/married/have children etc. I don't WANT to die, but equally if I did die tomorrow suddenly I don't think now that I'd feel particularly hard done by.

No, not of the natural end of a well lived life.

I’d hate to leave my son alone without a dad, but I’m doing all I can raise him to be a strong and fair human. Hes such a just and kind kid I think I could die and he would cope, and thrive, but I’d like to see him become an adult, but I think thats common for parents

With the old age thing I'm not dreading it but it does worry me that I won't have any network/children to look after me if I need it.

your children if you had them might hate you and refuse to do it ANYWAY so I wouldn't worry
